Two Albums. One Studio. Help the Gardyn Jazz Orchestra Make It Happen
Over the past few years, the Gardyn Jazz Orchestra has built a growing community around our music. We’ve released two albums so far: our self-titled debut studio recording and Vinyl Brews, a live album praised by All About Jazz for its energy and sense of place, noting how the band “captures the spirit of performance and community.”
Our next project is a new studio album that expands on that foundation. As the music took shape, it became clear that this isn’t just a collection of tunes, but a set of musical scenes drawn from our shared experiences as performers and listeners. The music unfolds across two complementary worlds: one filled with daytime movement, groove, and humor, and another shaped by memory, reflection, and late-night listening.
Recording original big band music at this level requires 17 musicians, multiple studio sessions, and extensive post-production. Your support helps make that possible and ensures this music is documented and shared beyond the stage. THANK YOU for helping bring this project to life.

FAQ
Risks and challenges
This is an ambitious studio undertaking with real risks and logistical challenges. Featuring 17 musicians and detailed original arrangements, the production scope goes far beyond a typical jazz recording. Properly capturing a big band requires multiple studio days, careful coordination, fair compensation for artists, and professional post-production. Without adequate resources, the artistic and technical quality would be compromised. Your support helps mitigate these risks and makes the project possible at the level it deserves.
