Can I purchase different formats of sheet music?

• All charts that are available on THIS WEBSITE can only be purchased as a PDF. If you would prefer to purchase printed sheet music (i.e. hard copies), you can visit J.W. Pepper Sheet Music where you can order printed copies. All PDFs will be available as a digital download immediately after purchase.

Am I permitted to print multiple copies of the PDF's that I have purchased?

• Yes. Feel free to print as many copies as you may need for the purpose of your ensemble.

Why might you need to print multiple copies? 

• Just to name a few possible reasons...

  • Members of your ensemble may wish to have 'practice copies' to work on at home 

  • You may need extra scores to use at adjudication festivals 

  • Your pianist may have spilled coffee on their part while also leaving it out for their cat to "play with"

• I ask that you would respect the fact that I earn my living by selling this music. Please do not give away or loan, copies of this music to friends and colleagues. I ask that you instead encourage them to purchase their own copy.  

 Can I share the PDF's that I have purchased?

• Yes... and no. Digital copies are just more convenient to share music for the reasons stated above. I do endorse you sharing these PDF's in the following ethical ways:

  • Email or store on a secure file hosting service individual parts permitting members to access copies to practice outside of rehearsals 

  • Keep your PDFs on a hard drive or secure cloud storage so you won't have to worry about missing parts in future use 

  • For any other questions regarding this matter, I ask that you message me directly. I would be happy to speak with you about this 

• The following are examples of sharing go against the intent of our transaction. I ask that you please do not do them:

  • Email (or otherwise share) the entire set of PDFs to a friend of yours who wants to play the chart

  • Post the entire set of PDFs online on a filesharing (or other such) site to allow others to download them without paying for them
